Our Officers

Dr. Shelley Ann Fetterolf 
President

Dr. Fetterolf is the medical director at Sun Dog Cat Moon on Johns Island. She also is a licensed acupuncturist. When she is not working or managing the TVMA, she enjoys travel, kayaking, hiking and yoga.

Dr. Jessica Holland
Website editor

Dr. Holland is a relief veterinarian, providing relief services to the Lowcountry since 2019. She has been editing the website since its creation in 2017. When she's not working or trying to keep up with the TVMA, she enjoys travel, cooking and anything on the water. 

Dr. Christina Korb
Secretary

Dr. Korb is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist and medical director at The Animal Eye Institute of Charleston. Her role as a TVMA board member includes helping to organize and promote monthly continuing education meetings. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, boating, and true crime podcasts.

Dr. Jake Jacobson
Specialty Practice Representative

​Dr. Jacobson is a board-certified cardiologist and the owner of Charleston Veterinary Cardiology. As the TVMA Specialty Practice Representative, his role includes specialist outreach, membership and participation. Outside of work, Dr. Jacobson likes to take advantage of the ever-growing cultural and recreational activities the Lowcountry has to offer.

Dr. Kris Helke
Dr. Helke is a board-certified veterinary pathologist and Chair of the Department of Comparative Medicine at MUSC.  When she first moved to the area, she practiced at Goose Creek Veterinary Clinic.  When she has free time, she enjoys traveling with her dog Maggie, hiking, kayaking, and cooking.
